Are you planning a visit to beautiful Santa Fe New Mexico this season? If so, there are some pointers we would love to offer you to make sure that you get to see and enjoy all that this great city has to offer.
Getting to Santa Fe will require a flight into Albuquerque (ABQ) or Santa Fe (SAF). Numerous carriers offer service to ABQ with only a few serving SAF. When arriving into ABQ you will be met by your chauffeur at the bottom of the second escalator. They will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your vehicle.
The drive to Santa Fe will bring you up an additional 2000 feet in elevation and through many pueblos. Watch for wild horses and buffalo as you travel up Route 25. Our climate is warm and dry. With the added elevation, you will need to drink plenty of water every day.
Once in Santa Fe there is so much to see and do. We recommend starting the day with a historical walking tour of the downtown area to learn all about the history of our great city. A hearty breakfast can be found at Pasqual’s within walking distance of most down town hotels. A trip over to the Palace of the Governors’ will give you the opportunity to view some unique custom jewelry and pottery made by the local native americans. Make sure you try a $5 fajita at the stand on the plaza that has been there for 20 years. With numerous museums and galleries through out downtown, you can spend the day roaming the streets and seeing all sorts of beautiful art. When you find yourself hungry again, there are numerous food options to choose from. One of our favorites is Spanish tapas at La Boca. Another fun place to grab a bite is the roof top cantina at Coyote Café.
After a long day of shopping and museum tours, spend a day at the spa at La Posada or take a trip to Ojo Caliente springs. As you venture outside of downtown a trip to Bandalier National monument, Puye Cliff dwellings, Chimayo and Taos are all local favorites. We also have numerous wineries like Black Mesa that offer a healthy pour in each flight and delicious white and red wine to take home with you.
During the summer months make sure you get a chance to enjoy our world famous Santa Fe Opera. With performances including Carmen, Don Pasquale and many more. We are the official Opera Shuttle provider for the 2014 season.
Your trip is not complete without an adventure with Santa Fe Rafting Company. They offer half day Racetrack white river rafting or full day Taos box rafting trips. Make sure to ask for John Adams as your guide. He has been a river guide for over 16 years and will make your day memorable.

We are available to accommodate full day and overnight trips for parties as large as 32 passengers (or more with additional vehicles).
